Diptyque -Ambre – Scented Candle
It’s like a walk through the forest on a warm, sunny day. The wind carries fine notes of vetiver and patchouli down through the leaves, where they mingle with radiant aniseed, fresh spices, cistus and tonka bean to create a warm, woody fragrance. Dyptique launched its first scented candle just two years after the company was founded in 1963 under the melodious name Aubépine. It was a grandiose start that was to be followed by many more candles – including Cannelle and Thé. The famous oval label with the simple black lettering quickly became Dyptique’s trademark. Dyptique’s world of fragrances is a fragrant ode to nature and contains only the finest ingredients. Dyptique brings back long-forgotten memories. Dyptique’s luxurious scented candles are made by hand in 12 separate steps. The ratio of wax to wick is determined individually for each candle to ensure a consistent fragrance.
