The high art of Florentine furriers, whose elaborately tanned skins were processed into fine garments, served Farmacia SS. Annunziata as an inspirational element for Vaiai e Pellicciai. While the Vaiai specialised in the art of processing coveted squirrel skins, the Pellicciai dealt with the tanning of all other animal skins. Vaiai e Pellicciai opens with a restrained opening of notes of mandarin, lemon and cardamom, only to unfold shortly afterwards as a veritable floral explosion.
